We predicted that the creature evolved from the lungfish due to the amount of similarities they share. We predicted the creature evolved due to a lack of food. A lack of food caused a group of lungfish to migrate. A search for food in the river was a failure. So, the fish was forced to move on land in search for food. The fish was able to breathe on land and it could also move on land. When searching for food fishes with longer legs were able to capture and eat prey more easily than fishes who had shorter legs. Over time the fish evolved to grow longer legs. Claws and teeth were predicted to cause by certain unknown mutations in the fishes DNA. These characteristics allowed the new creatures to thrive in the environment. Due to its success the new creatures was able to survive and reproduce. The passed down traits to the offspring also made them able to be successful in the environment.
